Kibubu FAQs

TigoPesa Kibubu is a service that allows a customer to save individually by connecting the main TigoPesa account to the Tigo Pesa Kibubu account.

TigoPesa Kibubu connects the main TigoPesa account with the TigoPesa Kibubu account which enables the customer to transfer money from one account to another for saving and withdraw purpose.

No fee will be charged when using Tigo Pesa Kibubu service.

Dial * 150 * 01 #, Select  (7) Financial Services, >> Savings (8) >> TigoPesa Kibubu (Individual Savings) (1), and follow the instructions.

The customer can save as low as TZS 1 to any amount on Tigo Pesa Kibubu as long as that amount is in the main TigoPesa account.

The customer can withdraw any amount of options from TigoPesa Kibubu to the maximum amount available in his TigoPesa Kibubu account.

Yes, the Customer can check the balance of his TigoPesa Kibubu account via USSD by dialing * 150 * 01 # then select 6 Self Care (Account & Balance) then select 3 to check the balance then select number 2 Tigo Pesa Kibubu balance.

Yes, The customer will receive a monthly Gawio and the end of each month to their main Tigo Pesa wallet.

Gawio will be paid on the first few working days of each month on the main Tigo Pesa account

The customer can withdraw money from his TigoPesa Kibubu account up to the maximum amount available in that account whenever he needs to do so.
