Tigo Pesa customers can register their vehicles, purchase 3rd party insurance, and open claims from their mobile phones via Tigo Pesa.

Premium will be paid via Tigo Pesa upon purchase of the policy.

The new electronic system of motor vehicle insurance service does not provide stickers; all your information will be available online.

  What are the policy limits?

The policy limit depends on the loss suffered as stated in terms and conditions for this insurance policy.

  What could be the possible reason for customers claims not to be covered?

Customer will not be covered if terms and conditions will not be adhered.

  Can the insurance contract be renewed?

Yes, the insurance contract can be renewed upon the needs of the customer and after the expiry of the one-year contractual period.

  What procedures should a customer follow to open claims?

In case of reporting any claims; The customer should dial *150*01# select (7): Financial Services, select (3): Bima, select (2): Motor Insurance and there after select (3): Claims and follow the instructions to log in your incident for claiming process to start. Or Open Tigo Pesa App, Select Financial Services, Select Insurance, Select Motor Insurance, Select Insurer, Select Claims then follow instruction.
