  What are the criteria for eligibility?

- All Tigo prepaid Customers are eligible to buy Social packs
- Packages can only be used by a registered Tigo SIM Card

  Can I do multiple subscriptions?

Yes, multiple subscriptions of more than one pack a day by a Customer is allowed.

  Can I buy for friend?

Yes you can buy any Social pack for a friend at any point in time AND you can buy more than one pack for a friend in a day except for Special offers under Saizi Yako menu

  Can I share my purchased Bundle/Pack balance with someone?

No, currently a Customer can not share the content of a purchased pack with a friend. To buy for a friend, a customer needs to follow specific steps of gifting a new pack to a friend

  What are the payment options?

here are two main payment options for a Customer to choose when buying a pack. 1. Main balance 2. Tigo Pesa.
These options are provided based on the channel selected by a Customer for Example on USSD *147*00# and Tigo Website a Customer can opt to pay via Main balance option or Tigo Pesa option. While when Tigo Pesa App or Tigo Pesa menu via USSD *150*01# the payment option is only Tigo Pesa

  What is the pack validity?

Every Social pack has a specified validity and the content of the purchased pack can only be used within the specified time which is always indicated at the time of purchase and in our menus.

  Can I carryover my package remaining content?

No, at the moment a Customer can not carry over any remaining content of the purchased pack after the pack is expired. Therefore a Customer is advised to use the pack content within the predefined validity of the pack. This is always indicated at the time of purchase and in all our menus.
Carryover will be lauched soon, this will be communicated when ready.

  What are the channels to buy the packs?

Dial *147*00# → Select Validity → Select Social → Select a pack → Choose payment option → the Customer receive a confirmation of the purchase done or
Buy from our Website (www.tigowebsite.co.tz) or
from our Tigo Pesa App, Tigopesa USSD *150*01# or
Buy from our POS Channels

  How do I check balance for my activated pack?

Dial *102*00# and a Customer will receive a detailed Social with the pack balance

  Can I use Social content for Roaming?

No, the content provided on Social packs is only enabled within the country and can not be used during roaming

  Can I use other services if I have activated a pack?

Yes, a Customer is not restricted to use or buy other services while subscribed to a pack

  Can I use Social content for other Internet Services?

No, the content provided on Social packs is only enabled for the specified service. The content can not be used for other Internet services i.e
- Social packs for Facebook and WhatsApp are only applicable for Facebook and WhatsApp and not other Internet services
- Social packs for WhatsApp and Instagram are only applicable for WhatsApp and Instagram and not other Internet services
- Social packs are only applicable for Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram and Twitter and not other Internet services

  What is the usage priority for Social Packs?

All Social packs have the first priority over the other Internet packs. That is, if a customer buys a social pack and an Internet pack, the social pack will be used first before the Internet pack regarless of the validity of the social pack
