Fiesta Chemsha Bongo – MUZIKI TRIVIA

This promotion is open to All Tigo prepaid subscribers only 

  • Duration of the competition: 07 July 2023 to 06 October. 
  • End date subject to extension depending on the patronage of the promotion 
  • Every Customer who subscribes to the SMS trivia service will accumulate points by responding to Fiesta Chemsha Bongo trivia quiz and at the end of the day all participants have equal chances of winning, Top 20 players with the highest points in particular period of time will get into raffles to win daily prize. And as for Weekly Prize and Grand Prize will go to the player with the highest points. For each trivia SMS question answered, a subscriber will be charged 100Tsh/SMS. 

WINNER SELECTION: 

There will be raffles and points based draws. Winning is solely on merit by way of sent to or received from the promo short code, and points accumulation during the campaign period. 

Winner selection and notification will be done in the presence of inspector from the Gaming Board of Tanzania. The more the trivia questions a subscriber answers the more the points he / she accumulates and the more the chance of getting lucky. 

All winners for the “FIESTA CHEMSHA BONGO TRIVIA” will be selected through Ruffles using top 20 players with highest points, and there will be only one Grand Prize draw winner highest points draws for and grand winner. 

PRIZES 

  • GRAND PRIZE:  
    One subscriber with the highest points collected at the end of the promotion will win Grand prize of 10,000,000Tsh. 
  • WEEKLY PRIZES: (2 Winners). Player with the Highest points in respective week will get 300,000Tsh cash and the second one will get 200,000Tsh cash. 
  • DAILY PRIZE: (3 winners) Top 20 players of the day will get into raffles to find two lucky winners who will be given 10,000Tsh each. And another daily winner is the one with highest points of the day and will win 50,000Tsh. 
  • Customer MUST subscribe to the service by sending keyword MUZIKI to 15571  
  • Customer can also play by visiting http://tigochemshabongo.co.tz 
  • Subscription to the service is FREE. Upon subscription, customer will start receiving Entertainment related questions. The first question after successfully subscription will be charged 100 TSH and the next questions won’t be charged until the person answers the question.  
  • Any wrong keyword sent to short code 15571 will be considered as an incorrect answer for the previous question sent. Hence the system will notify you of an incorrect response and will prompt a new question if a subscriber has sufficient balance. 
  • Each correct response to the MUZIKI trivia question will yield 200 (Two hundred) points while an incorrect response will give 50 (Fifty) points. 
  • BONUS POINT Question: To boost Players, with Notification Customer will be awarded BONUS POINTS for special Question Reply. Prizes distribution criteria will remain same. 
  • Campaign will include Entertainment trivia (quizzes) to engage players and boost their winning chances as they learn through the journey. 
  • The more a subscriber responds to the questions the more the points accumulated and the likelihood of becoming the winner by having highest points. 
  • To un subscribe the subscriber will have to send key word ONDOA MUZIKI to 15571. 
  • There are no unsubscription charges. 
  • Any subscriber who has won a particular prize, and who at the time of calling him/her to notify him/her as a winner is not reachable or fails to answer his/her phone three (3) times, will be disqualified as a winner. In such an event, the subscriber with the second highest points shall be contacted and if reached declared the winner. 
  • Winning subscribers who were not reachable by telephone or who did not answer their phone 3 times will not have a right to claim a prize. 
  • All PRIZES for “Fiesta Chemsha Bongo trivia ” campaign winners will be handed over to the winners at Tigo offices 
  • A subscriber can ONLY win a particular prize ONLY ONCE. That is if a subscriber wins a weekly prize in week 1 he/she will not be eligible to win a weekly prize again in the coming weeks. The customer will accumulate the points for grand prize only which is 10,000,000 TSH. 
  •  Tigo will remain with the prize of a winner who at the time of winning does not claim it for a period of three (3) months after which the winner will no longer have claim to the prize and hence considered forfeited. 
  • By participating and accepting a prize a winner gives rights to Tigo to use winner information be it but not limited to voice, picture or video testimonials for the purpose of publication in media for the full duration of promotion. 
  • The names of the winners will be published in a newspaper and media outlets 
  • Telcovas and Tigo employees and their families are not eligible to participate in this promotion 
  • The promotion is open to Tanzania residents only. 
  • Names of the winners will be mentioned on selected electronic media and printed on selected newspapers. 
  • Tigo reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of this promotion at any time by giving a notice of such intent to the Gaming Board of Tanzania.
