Voice Packs Terms & Conditions

  • 1 Eligibility:

    All Tigo prepaid Customers are eligible to buy Voice packs

  • 2Multiple subscriptions:

    Multiple subscriptions of more than one pack a day by a Customer is allowed.

  • 3 Buy for a friend:

    A Customer can buy any Voice pack for a friend at any point in time AND can buy more than one pack for a friend in a day except for Special offers under Saizi Yako menu

  • 4 Bundle/Pack sharing:

    Currently a Customer can not share the content of a purchased pack with a friend. To buy for a friend, a Customer needs to follow specific steps of gifting a new pack to a friend

  • 5 Payment options:

    There are two main payment options for a Customer to choose when buying a pack. 1. Main balance 2. Tigo Pesa. These options are provided based on the channel selected by a Customer for Example on USSD *147*00# and Tigo Website a Customer can opt to pay via Main balance option or Tigo Pesa option. While when Tigo Pesa App or Tigo Pesa menu via USSD *150*01# the payment option is only Tigo Pesa

  • 6 Pack Validity:

    Every voice pack has a specified validity and the content of the purchased pack can only be used within the specified time which is always indicated at the time of purchase and in our menus.

  • 7 Voice pack content carry over:

    A Customer can not carry over any remaining content of the purchased pack after the pack is expired. Therefore a Customer is advised to use the pack content within the predefined validity of the pack. This is always indicated at the time of purchase and in all our menus.

  • 8 Channels / How to buy voice packs:

    Dial *147*00# → Select Validity → Select Voice → Select a pack → Choose payment option → the Customer receive a confirmation sms of the purchase done or
    Buy from our Website (www.tigowebsite.co.tz) or
    from our Tigo Pesa App , or Tigopesa USSD *150*01# or
    Buy from our POS Channels or

  • 9 How To check balance for Voice pack:

    Dial *102*00# and a Customer will receive a detailed SMS with the pack balance

  • 10 Use of Voice content for On net and Off net:

    A Customer can use the content provided on the pack for both On net and off net calls

  • 11 Use of Voice content for Roaming and International calls and SMS:

    The content provided on Voice packs is only enabled for On net and Off net use only (local networks) and can not be used during roaming or for interntational calls and SMS.

  • 12 Use of other services:

    A Customer is not restricted to use or buy other services while subscribed to a voice packs

  • 13 Minutes offered can be used any time of the day with exceptions to the NIGHT Minutes which can only be used between 10:00pm to 6:00am.

  What are the eligibility criteria to buy Packs?

- All Tigo prepaid Customers are eligible to buy Voice packs
- Packages can only be used by a registered Tigo SIM Card

  Can I do multiple subscriptions?

Yes, multiple subscriptions of more than one pack a day by a Customer is allowed.

  Can I buy for friend?

Yes, you can buy any Voice pack for a friend at any point in time AND you can buy more than one pack for a friend in a day except for Special offers under Saizi Yako menu

  Can I share my purchased Bundle/Pack balance with someone?

No, currently a Customer can not share the content of a purchased pack with a friend. To buy for a friend, a customer needs to follow specific steps of gifting a new pack to a friend

  What are the payment options?

No, at the moment a Customer can not carry over any remaining content of the purchased pack after the pack is expired. Therefore a Customer is advised to use the pack content within the predefined validity of the pack. This is always indicated at the time of purchase and in all our menus.
Carryover will be lauched soon, this will be communicated when ready.

  What are the channels to buy the packs?
